Online registration for the OSM is closed as of Monday, 4 February. For registrations after this date, contact the Local Organizers. (Note that late payments will have to be made in cash at the meeting.)

Registration Guidelines

Please use your username and password from your conference account to register or to access your conference account. If you have lost your password, please contact us. If you don't have an account yet, please create one.

To register for the 4th PAGES Open Science Meeting (OSM), the 2nd Young Scientists Meeting (YSM) and the fieldtrips, you will have to complete the online registration form. Day tickets for accompanying persons must be purchased on-site.

Please note: YSM participation is on a competitive basis. Only those applicants that have been officially selected to participate in the YSM should register for it.

Indian Participants

A special arrangement has been made for Indian participants to pay in rupees.

Accommodation

At the OSM venue a limited number of rooms at subsidised rates are offered on a first come basis. These and all other accommodation must be booked directly at the respective hotels (for details, see OSM accommodation). Officially selected YSM participants benefit from a special package that includes the OSM registration fees and twin-sharing accommodation for 7 nights (at the YSM venue). All YSM participants are expected to opt for this, though exceptions can be made for local participants.

Field Trips

Field trips must be booked & paid for in advance to enable organisers to plan logistics. 
The 3-day field trip to the Deccan Traps (Field Trip 4) must be booked & paid for by 15 November 2012. This field trip is limited to 30 places on a first-come basis. 
Booking & payment for the 1-day field trips must be made before 1 February 2013.

Payments and Funding

Registration and payment in full must be made in advance of the meetings. Payments can be made by credit card or by bank transfer. For the cancellation and refund policy, see below.

Limited funding for registration is available.


Registration Fees

The registration fee for the OSM includes:

- Participation in the 4th Open Science Meeting, 13-16 Feb 2013
- Icebreaker welcome reception OSM, evening of 12 Feb 2013
- Morning and afternoon tea breaks
- Lunches
- Conference dinner 15 Feb 2013
- Conference bag, abstracts
- Local transport from nearby hotels to the venue (as scheduled)

The registration fee for the YSM + OSM + accommodation special package* includes the above and in addition:

- Participation in the 2nd Young Scientists Meeting, 11-12 Feb 2013
- Icebreaker welcome reception YSM, evening of 10 Feb 2013
- BBQ dinner on 11 Feb 2013
- Lunches and tea breaks during the YSM
- Accommodation at the International Centre Goa (= YSM venue) for the whole duration of the YSM and OSM (10-17 Feb 2013, 7 nights) on a twin sharing basis, including breakfast.

* Only available to those officially selected to participate in the YSM.

All fees are in Swiss Francs (CHF)

Please note: To benefit from the early registration fee rate, registration AND payment must be received no later than 15 November 2012, otherwise the late registration fee will apply.

Reduced fees for students: a proof of the student status (MSc, BSc, PhD students) must be presented on arrival, otherwise the full rate will be applicable.


Payment Options

Payment is accepted online by credit card (Visa and MasterCard) or by bank transfer (invoice) only.

 These options will be displayed during the online registration process.

The bank account details are provided on the invoice. 

If you pay by bank transfer, please ensure that any bank charges incurred are paid by the participant (no costs to the organizers) and indicate the participants name as reference.

Confirmation

For payments made by credit card, a confirmation will be emailed at the end of the online registration process. 
For payments made by bank transfer, a confirmation will be emailed after payment has been received.

 This email confirmation will serve as your official participation document.

 Attendance certificates will only be handed out on arrival at the conference.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellation and refund requests need to be made in writing to the PAGES International Project Office.

Cancellation and refund requests made on or before 15 Dec 2012 will receive a full refund of the registration fee minus a CHF 70 administrative fee. For cancellations after 15 December 2012 or no-shows no refund will be granted, but substitute delegates for the OSM may be accepted (plus administrative fee of CHF 70). All refunds will be made after the conference.

If any part of the congress is cancelled by the organizers, the respective fee will be fully refunded.
