Visa and Passport requirements

The following countries (this is not an exhaustive list, so please check with your own embassies) DO NOT require a visa, just a valid passport only:

  • Citizens of the European Union as well as Switzerland, Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein.
  • Citizens of Canada and the United States of America, as well as of some countries from Central and South America (e.g. Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Mexico).
  • Several African countries benefit from a visa exemption to travel to Morocco such as Algeria, Congo (Brazaville), Ivory Coast, Guinea, Libya, Mali, Guinea Konakry, Senegal, Gabon, Tanzania, Tunisia.
  • Citizens of Japan, China, Indonesia.

Holders of the following passports can enter without visa for 3 months:

Holders of the following passports can enter without visa for 30 days:

Hong Kong /· Hungary /All other visitors 

    Holders of other passports, or travellers wishing to remain in the country for longer periods, should contact the nearest embassy or consulate to obtain a visa.
